Vajrayana Buddhist monks of the Dzongsar Monastery in Eastern Bhutan conduct the rituals to honor the five Tseringma sisters. In Vajrayana Buddhism, the Tseringma sisters are believed to be protectors of the Buddha's teachings. The 5 celestial sisters are said to be Nepali Sherpa girls and reside in Mt. Everest.
