Often I forget how small I am compare to the enormous nature. Living in the US, with a very independent culture and strong ambitions, I always picture myself as "the big man" around the block. However, when I sat on a rock on a beach in France, I saw my friend walking off from the water. I suddenly realized that he was just a small proportion of the beach and the sea, and so was I.
