Sunrise on The Guadalupe

I arrived at this particular spot on the Guadalupe River so as to capture the rising sun creating a golden glow on the trees in the background. I used a slow shutterspeed to give the water a silky effect and to create motion. I picked this location also to show the beauty of the cypress trees and their root systems! With the sunlight and the color of the trees, it gave this photo a painterly effect!
