The "Cadillac Ranch" is located west of Amarillo, Texas. People have been spray painting graffiti on the cars for years. The cars are buried nose down in a field about 100 yards off an access road. There is a gate which is always open. There are no souvenir shops, no lights, just cars! I decided to wait until nearly dark, and use a powerful spotlight to illuminate the vehicles. I shined the light on the ground around the base of each one to make it appear like an overhead light was glowing above each car! I set my camera on "bulb" for about 90 seconds to achieve this effect.
