- This grizzly bear and her three cubs in Yellowstone National Park just crossed Soda Butte Creek in to a field near the northeast entrance to the park in late May, 2010. I was told by a ranger this past May that there was only one bear in the park at that time that had 3 cubs. It turns out that this is the bear that killed a camper and injured two near Cooke City, MT in July.

- This rather disturbing sight of a dead Flamingo on the shores of the Uyuni Salt Flats in Bolivia reminds us on the beauty and vulnerability of Nature and the impact of us Humans. The numbers of Flamingos living near the Uyuni Salt Flats has dramatically declined over the last years, due to a rapid increase in Tourism and a lack of sensibility of the locals. The exploitation of natural recourses, such as Lithium, near the salt flats might mark an end for many species in the years to come.

- One morning while on the Big Island of Hawaii i exploring my surroundings to see if i could find something to photograph. I almost went back inside when something on this huge palm tree leaf caught my eye. I stayed around and it was this little gecko, startled by my presence he was hidden between the ridges of the leaf. He would pop his head up periodically to check his surroundings, as soon as he saw i was still there he would hide again. We played this game for a while until i got the shot.

- As our ferry departed the city of Kavala, Greece, towards the town of Thassos, a flock of seagulls tailed us far out to sea, each bird with the greatest of precision dived inches from the waves below attempting the catch food thrown from the ferry
