- A White Hart stag surveys its patch in the rutting season. The mists and atmosphere that morning were magical. Wonderful rays of light penetrated the canopy.

- It was a cold winter's day when a Snowy Owl flew low over the frozen prairie hunting for field mice and rabbits. As he hovered near me before his final assault, I was able to capture this shot. It had been over seventy years since our county had a Snowy Owl winter here and I was delighted with the magical photographic opportunities.

- These wolves live in a sanctuary near the west entrance to Yellowstone National Park in Montana. One stands watch while the other licks snow off the branches of the nearby pines. Although they were born in captivity, the wolves here live in three different packs and howl, frolic, and hunt much like their wild counterparts. For those park visitors who are not fortunate enough to spot wolves inside Yellowstone, this non-profit sanctuary provides a closer look at these elusive and majestic canines.
