A wild leopard in the Moremi game park, Botswana, rolls in the sand after failing to catch an impala. As she looks up at the camera she looks less like a wild predator and more like a domestic cat stretching in the sun. It is unclear whether the difference in her iris colours is due to heterochromia or a previous eye injury but her expression seems to suggest that she knows she is being watched. This image was captured whilst out on a game drive on our honeymoon in Botswana, June 2012. Canon EOS 60D, Canon EFS lens, EF- S55-250mm.shooting mode program AE mode, 1/400, F6.3.ISO 160
