A one year-old boy's first visit to the giant Redwoods reminds us of the mystery and awe we feel towards nature and new beginnings. We are dwarfed by our worlds and yet driven to explore them. At any turn, anything is possible. The moment I took this picture of my son, I felt at once a recapturing of my own childhood curiosity, as well as a new sense of excitement that comes with learning vicariously through one's progeny. We are part and parcel of an inter-generational dynamic with our environments. Life is a process and we are co-creators.
