Spider Monkey of the Madre De Dios

On a visit to the Eco Amazonia jungle lodge we were taken to "Monkey Island" where the owner rescues "domesticated" monkeys from the black market and releases them to live in a natural setting on the island. This spider monkey had come down to us, knowing that with the tourists come banana treats.
