Non-Native Lion Fish in the Bahamas

Category: Nature

Photo and caption by Gloria Henson

My sister and I were snorkeling in shallow water using two SeaBobs. We dove down about 6 feet over a small rock formation and saw a lion fish on the top of the formation. It was about 14" long and very beautiful. This photo shows Cindi looking down from the surface behind the lion fish. We also have great photos of just the lion fish all fanned out.

Location: Stanel Cays, Bahamas
