Wandering through the narrow streets of Barcelona's old-town melting-pot neighborhood El Raval on a January afternoon, I saw a golden shaft of light coming from a cross-street ahead. I ran to the corner and aimed my camera down the street, lucky enough to catch this family go by before the setting sun sank behind the buildings.
