The journey to the Yellowstone National park has been like a dream to me. Featured here is the famous Opalescent Pool of the black Sand Basin which used to be one of the boiling springs before drying off in the 1950s. However, the Sprouter Geyser erupted which flowed into the opalescent Pool killing the surrounding lodgepole pine . The impeding storm over the black Sand Basin seems to add to the mysteries of Nature while the strong rays of the sun continued to glow the Opalescent pool. It looked as if the End of the World was inevitable!!
