A night in June at the Bombay Beach in Salton Sea... it is still 105 degrees Fahrenheit and smells of dead fish (almost eight million tilapia died on a single summer day in 1999 due to lack of oxyzen, I've heard.) penetrate into every pore and sweat keep dripping into eyes. It definitely not a pleasant stay. But...watching a calm beauty, pelicans flying along a vanishing horisontal at pastel sunset, let all those obstacles let go.
