This photograph was taken on my first night dive off Osprey Reef, Australia. Osprey reef is world renowned for its shear wall dives which plunge kilometers off into the abyss. The photo shows a lone silhouette of a Trevally caught in the flood lighting of the dive vessel. It is an eery feeling to dive with the thought of such a vast expanse of unknown beneath you and this picture to me encapsulates the feeling of solitude I felt on the dive.
