Indian River Lagoon Dolphin In The Wild

Category: Nature

Photo and caption by Judy Lane

This is a photo of an Indian River Lagoon dolphin, taken in a small cove in Cocoa, Florida, while the dolphins drove the fish in to feed. This dolphin is different from the dolphin you may be accustomed to seeing in the ocean as it lives in rivers instead. Sadly, at this time they are very decreasing in numbers. They can be easily spotted by the 'pink' belly.

Location: Cocoa, Florida
