Goldenrod Crab Spider

The Goldenrod Crab Spider hunts for its prey by hiding in flowers. The spider may be white or yellow depending on the flower in which it is hunting. Here, the spider seems to be mimicking the opening petals of a Black-eyed Susan as it hides in wait.
