This is my Dad, my Hero. At the time I took this picture my Dad was battling stage 4 pancreatic cancer. This was taken in July, 2011. My Dad passed away October 1, 2011. He never gave up on life. He continued to work in his garden. It was his pride and joy. I had gotten the pleasure to work right beside him. He taught me how to plant the seeds, work on irrigation lines, harvest the vegetables. We also had a family canning day. My Dad even dug his own Baptismal pool with a backhoe and lined it with plastic. I have pictures of that also. That was a wonderful day! I miss my Dad!
