I watched with fascination as this barracuda swam in, out, and around this school of Bermuda chub near an offshore platform. Each movement of the barracuda was followed by a collective response by the chubs. One mistake by any member of the chubs resulted in a burst of white water and shower of scales, something I was able to see but not capture, but the signs of near misses showed on at least one of the chubs, as its back was recently laid open.
