This photo was taken immediately after a Bald Eagle took a Great Horned Owl out of a pine tree directly in front of me. I was taking photos of the owl and from nowhere the eagle appeared. It flew a short distance and landed in a sand trap on a golf course, where it preceded to bring the owl to it's demise. Carcass was last seen being carried to the eagle's nest where it would feed the two eaglets eagerly awaiting another meal.
