I was sitting at the South Rim of the Grand Canyon for the first time. My wife and I had been warned about the very cheeky Squirrels that roamed the public areas because they try to steal your lunch. Being from New Zealand we were excited about the possibility of seeing such an animal. We were not disappointed. After many attempts at our lunch this one critter jumped up onto the ledge and appeared to be looking down the viewfinder of my Nikon D700 camera for only one second. I was incredibly lucky to also have my Panasonic Lumix camera at the ready and was blessed with this shot.

Location: South Rim, Grand Canyon, AZ, USA
