Returning to the Atolls

There are so remotely located and inhabited coral atolls in the Pacific Ocean that are reached only 2-3 times annually. This year, the second government outreach happened last September 9-15, 2012. It is only in this trip where students and migrant workers can return to their respective home in the atolls and mingle with their family for more or less eight hours (occasionally up to two days) depending on the itinerary. Majority will go back thereafter, ride a small pump boat again to return to the main ship awaiting in the nearby deep blue sea.
