i discovered this spider while pruning roses near De Mortel Holland on September 17, 2012. it seems to use its glowing abdomen and the backdrop of the rose to lure prey into its web. It spends cool nights snug between two petals of the bloom behind it. On that day it emerged to take up position, during an overcast morning, to make minor repairs and await its breakfast.
Location: De Mortel, Netherlands
