A picture of a Buddhist Monk gently reaching out to touch the granite sculpture called "Swarm of Babies" The sculpture represents the cycle of life by the artist Gustav Vigeland. The monolith in the background represents mans longing and yearning for the spiritual divine. What struck me at the time was the contrast between the monks colourful robes and the greyness of the granite sculptures. On reflection I feel I captured a moment of spiritual connection.
Location: Vigeland Park, Oslo, Norway
