McWay Falls Julia Pfeiffer Burns Big Sur

McWay Falls at Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park is a place many folks would love to see, but it's not really on the road to anywhere. It's on California's Route 1 between Monterey and Morro Bay. The beach is closed to the public, but there were still a lot of folks walking up the trail to get a better look. About halfway up the trail I started taking pictures, and took another set every ten feet until the trees got too close to closing off the cove's entrance to the Pacific Ocean. My only regret is that the shot looks a little too much like a picture postcard -- but maybe that's not too bad.
