Every four years the cycle of Sockeye Salmon returning to their place of birth occurs in massive numbers. This run was record setting at over 30 million salmon running from the Pacific ocean and heading over 500 km's inland to the Adam's River. I spent a week laying in the cold rushing river water trying to capture images of this amazing natural event. Salmon dying all around having reached their ultimate goal of spawning.
