Northern Mississippi provides spectacular autumn color and a great opportunity to photograph nature's beauty. This photo gives me the feeling of being in the midst of the Kaatskill Mountains. A thunderstorm approaching in background creates further depth of color, and enchantment. Imagine reading a novel describing old men playing nine-pins in the sky during a thunderstorm. The vacant chair beneath the trees evokes a vision of Rip Van Winkle sleeping there. The objects I choose to photograph are inspired by imagination on many occasions.
