The first photograph ever taken in Canada was a Daguerrotype of Niagara Falls. Hugh Lee Pattinson took the photo back in 1840. 172 years later after countless people have taken countless photos, Niagara Falls still makes a good photograph. The photo was taken using 4x5 inch film in a Linhof large format camera from the Skylon Tower.
