Bioluminescent Foxfire Fungi!

I noticed one night in August, after my friend had chopped up an old trunk for firewood, that there was a green glow coming from the splinters of timber scattered on the ground and the split logs. Having been amazed to see 'radioactive' timber I built a log tower and took some long exposure shots using a plastic seat as a tripod. I jumped into my last shot holding a glowing log in each hand and pulled a face for just long enough to allow some moonlight to reflect off me.
