Lynx Spider on a Flava

Here we have a Lynx Spider on a Sarracenia Flava Carnivorous Plant. They seem to live on a pitcher and to help itself to the prey the plant catches at times. In return, I suppose this spider could keep pest bugs that might otherwise harm the plant away. Whether it be a freeloading vagrant or beneficial mutalist, it does make for an interesting photograph. Taken June, 2012 (the cameras settings are off a year) Part of Author's local exploration of Carnivorous Plants project.
Location: Green Swamp, North Carolina, USA
