The little Sundew that could, the Drosera Capillaris is a Carnivorous Plant. The photo is set with the sun illuminating the subject as to dazzle the world with it's sticky dewdrops and to entice an insect to visit and be trapped and consumed by this wicked little wonder of the plant kingdom. Taken June, 2012 (the cameras settings are off a year) Part of the 2012 International Carnivorous Plant Society conference field trip.
Location: A dirt road in the woods, Boiling Springs, NC, USA.
