Deep in the forests of Finland, on the borders with Russia, brown bears roam. Slightly smaller than their Alaskan cousins, European Brown Bears are very shy and avoid human contact where possible. This bear scene was captured from the hide located in stunning forests of Kuhmo in Oulu Finland. Bears consume a substantial number of tree fruits and seeds. And this young bear was found wondering alone on the edge of beautiful woodland, detecting such things as acorns and white-bark pine cones by sight and scent, and move along alternately nose to the ground and scanning nose-level bushes.
