At the stop light, I looked up to see this small flock of birds just settling in the menagerie of wires above me. I was sitting there looking up at them because I was forced to stop by the whims of a red light. They seemed more free maybe even wiser for they aren’t controlled by lights or signs. I grabbed my camera in the few seconds I had before the light would tell me what to do or they decided they had enough of watching the cars obey the lights. I squeeze off a few frames before they decided to leave. The picture reminds me of our choices and the consequence they bring.
