Circle of Life

Category: Nature

Photo and caption by Steven Dammer

As a resident of the town this photo was taken in, I always find myself taking the single lane country roads to new places which is when I stumbled upon a simple field of tall grasses. I conveniently left shortly before sunset with the intent of capturing it which, I did, but the sun looked so perfect sitting just above the horizon, I felt compelled to emphasize it. I began crouching down in the grass and found a seemingly perfect spot which almost cradled the sun in among the grasses. The ends of the grasses produce new life cradling the circle which sustains them.
