This is Pak and her daughters. This photo was taken in the lean-to they were squatting in the day I met them. As a recently single mother, Pak was struggling to support her children. Every morning at 3.30am, before getting her children ready to go to school, she would go out picking wild morning glory to sell at the markets. She was earning about 50cents a day. On the day this photo was taken, life changed for Pak and her girls. The Cambodian Children's Trust (CCT) NGO relocated the family to a new home in the Battambang town and assisted Pak in establishing a small business.
Location: Battambang Province, Cambodia.
