Wings Over West Bay

My wife and I were walking the north beaches of West Grand Traverse Bay, Michigan, when a storm started moving in from the north. I was taking photographs of nature, and I noticed how the Ring-billed Gulls were glistening in the dark blue waters, with dark sky in the background. As we approached the gulls on a jetty, my wife moved out in front to get them to fly. As they took flight, I was ready to take the photograph.
