Bees are considered as one of nature's most important pollinators, they are social insects that live in hierarchical colonies, being the bottom of the pyramid constituted by worker bees. During one of my field trips, I spotted a worker bee while collecting nectar from a Maracujá flower (Passiflora edulis).
