This five-month-old Nigerian Dwarf goat browses along the fence line. Goats are ruminant browsers meaning they prefer to reach up for their food and favor soft twigs, leaves, and weeds. They effortlessly pick out the most nutritious portions of their feed, even amid a drought-ridden pasture.
