This Nigerian Dwarf goat is new to motherhood, giving birth at a fresh age of 11 months. Here she takes good care of her hour-old baby, a thrifty doeling (girl). Baby goats, called kids, find their legs within minutes of being born - and they immediately begin poking their mothers looking for the udder for that first taste of nutritious colostrum.
