Coming home from work I found this hawk nearly at my front door with a fresh squirrel kill. After running in the house to get my camera, he allowed me to get within a foot of him for this shot and let me sit nearby for 45 minutes watching. No telephoto lens or function was used - this is just a simple, natural shot on automatic setting with a point and shoot digital camera.
