The beautiful weirdness of nature - Sun and Clouds

On the afternoon of September 27, 2012, just outside of my place and over the Red River, the Sun was shrouded in an amazingly beautiful cloud formation. It somehow looked like waves with crests of foam in a churning sea. The Sun was sending its crepuscular rays through the gaps in the clouds. Something about this phenomena set the birds off, as about three dozen birds were flying incessantly around the Sun. This is the picture I took with the 70-200mm at 70mm.
