Together, above the Sun

On the afternoon of September 27, just outside of my place and over the Red River, the Sun was shrouded in an amazingly beautiful cloud formation. It somehow looked like waves with crests of foam in a churning sea. The Sun was sending its crepuscular rays through the gaps in the clouds. Something about this phenomena set the birds off, as about three dozen birds were flying incessantly around the Sun. I took a few pictures with a 70-200mm at 70 but then I zoomed in at 200, shooting with high speed continuous, hoping to capture a bird crossing the Sun. I got two beautifully weird ones.
