The sea lions were in a very playful mood for about three weeks prior to the annual herring run in the spring. At times there were close to 500 or more of them in the bay and we had up to 100 buzzing us as we did our dives. This is a Stellar Sea Lion but we had a mix of them and California Sea Lions, they could be a little aggressive at times such as biting and chewing on us but they were still a blast to dive with!
