While camping in the Westfjords of Iceland I came across an Arctic Fox family. The cubs were playing around washed up large pieces of driftwood. I composed a shot around a hollowed out log and just waited to see if the cubs would wonder around it. I didn’t have to wait too much longer and one of the cubs walked through the log and just sat on the other side of it and calmly looked directly at me. I decided not to shoot a tight portrait of the cub so I could include the environment in which they were living, and the blades of grass on the top of the log.
