Fall Sunset at Bear Lake

Category: Nature

Photo and caption by Jack Sasson

It had been overcast most of the day at Rocky Mountain National Park but we drove up to Bear Lake just at sunset to see if there were any changing aspens left around the water. A number of us were taking photos when the sun suddenly made a partial appearance setting on top of the range beyond the lake. I used a telephoto to zoom in and crop the scene and fired off two shots before the clouds closed back in.

Location: Bear Lake, Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado
