Shades of blue water, a dry space on a rock, sunshine over you no matter what you do. The simplest yet most extraordinary things in nature are all we need to unplug, to rest the mind, to charge one´s batteries, to prioritize. Italians are known for their “dolce farniente”, which is more than a phrase, it´s a lifestyle! In life there must be time for everything: working, sharing with loved ones, having fun and fare proprio niente! I took this picture from Grotte di Catullo, where the odd and unexpected view of crystal water over flat stones is just a refreshing summer promise.
