Perfectly Framed Angel of The North

Category: Places

Photo and caption by Karen Divorty

The Angel Of The North is always photographed the same way - you'll see the full length of its wing span and bright brown wood in pretty much every photo. To be honest, this is rather boring and it doesn't show the depths of this structure. I wanted to see it in an angle, highlight it's wonderful ridges and textures and completely ignore its colour by processing it in b&w.

Location: Gateshead, Tyne and Wear, United Kingdom
