Blind calm, human chaos

Upon visiting Tehran, Iran, we marveled at the endless appetite of the locals to get a photo taken, or simply to shake our hands and bid us welcome. Their friendliness was so directly opposite of our preconceived notions of the Iranians (for I must admit we were a bit scared before going there). One who did not, could not, ask for attention was this blind flute seller. In the middle of the bustling Tehran traffic he slowly went about playing his flute, oblivious to the rush race of his fellow countrymen. He had the beat of the street, but only one who asked would be able to buy.
