Fifteen-year-old Santana Alhassan Suidu burns a bundle of cords to expose the precious copper wires to sell in the Agbogbloshie slum outside the Ghanaian capital of Accra. Suidu arrived in Agbogbloshie five years ago and only makes $3.35 for every 225 pounds of wire burned. He sends most of his money to his family but has only been able to visit them once since he moved away.
