Eyes over Namib...

The Namib is the oldest desert in the world with estimated 80 million years. Namib means "empty space" or "place where there is nothing." And indeed, this landscape is beautiful, but also literally bone dry: sandstorms and daily temperature fluctuations of up to 70 degrees Celsius, making the desert to one of the most hostile places on earth. This picture was taken just before sunset from an airplane.
