The visit to the Etosha National Park is one of the highlights of Namibia. In 1907 Etosha was declared as Wildlife Sanctuary by the German South West African Administration. In the center of the National Park lies a vast salt pan, surrounded by grass and thorn savannah, mopane bushland in the west and dry forest in the northeast. The park is very well developed, well maintained roads lead to the waterholes, where you can see huge herds of elephants, zebras, kudus, giraffes, rhinos and other wild animals...
